Appomattox Court House

At Appomattox Court House we were able to tour the actual home where the surrender papers were signed by General Lee.  We also saw the furnishings from that time. We listened to a wonderful reenactor who told us what it was like at Appomattox Court House during that time.  She was wonderful and gave a heart rending performance.
